Chris, I see you got it down, but still not quite right. I think you should use photo editing to crop just your head into a separate pic, then make that pic 32 x 32. I like redheads. It runs in my LO family, although he isn't one. His beard used to be red before it turned grey..

kathi, I sent you and email url to try. I cant make it a smaller pic as it is too tiny to see. I could put just your face(which is verry pretty) in a smaller pic if you want..

If all of us had a picture like yours, lmohr, we'd be posting them...

Seriously, though, it isn't a good idea for some of us to reveal who we are. Nasty relatives, stuff like that. If you want to see me, you'll have to come along when frand and I meet at the San Diego Zoo next month.

Thanks, Deb, this was taken over Thanksgiving - had friends visiting - he did well for 3 days, then a complete meltdown. Good friends, and they understood and I still had a good visit with them!

I'm almost there - one more question - where is it that you click on "thumbnail" so it shows the whole pic and doesn't crop it? Thanks to anyone who can tell me.

I don't know if this will help but if you go to www.tinypic.com you can edit your picture to the pixel size this site wants and your whole picture will show.

He is famous for the "horns" behind the head. The latest pic I have of him and his 3 sisters, he did that behind the oldest sister's head. Sometimes they get older, but they never grow up. He was quite a practical joker in his day.

That is because the picture is too large and all that is showing is your nose and eye. Go back to your photo (on tinypic?) and make it the size that is called for and re-enter the new URL for it under the icon section. Deb (above) helped me with this yesterday. I had the same problem. Let me know if it works.
  9.
I chose thumbnail (?)) is that right, on tinypic?

Thumbnail would not work for me. I had to choose Atavar and the picture is still too large. Do you have to upload again every time you want a different size? I couldn't find a way to change the size of a picture already uploaded.
  10.
Jeanette, under your picture is "edit" - click it on and you can change sizes. I've tried them all I think! I keep having to go back and upload again and again, then I copy/paste onto the icon in account and save, but nothing happens. Good luck with yours.
  11.
Well, finally got it, but don't remember what size I chose??? Imagine that! I think it said "tiny".

Well, mine has disappeared again. I can click on Edit and in the screen that appears then, make the picture smaller by moving on a slide in the top right hand corner. Is there another way? But when I clicked Save a copy and then copied the new URL into the icon field, the whole picture disappeared again.
Part of the problem is that you seem to have to find a picture where your face is smack dab in the middle. Those are hard to find, so I tried cropping a larger picture to get the face in the middle. The cropped pictures don't work very well on this site.

I cropped me out of the larger picture of the two of us. Then I saved, editted and put in the size I wanted vs using the slider. It seemed to always take more than once clicking on save for it to save. Then you have to remember to click save when you paste the URL in your personal info here. (I forgot the first time).
  13.
Jeannette, on one of the drop down menus, it gives sizes and I'm sure I picked "tiny". And make sure when you copy and paste the url starts with http:// and ends with .jpg None of that img at front or end.

Charlotte, I'm glad to hear I don't look like an ewok. Actually the name kind of evolved naturally. For many years we had a cat named Ewok. When my oldest granddaughters were quite small they started calling us Grandma & Grandpa Ewok to differintiate between us and the other grandparents. When we got a computer we decided to use gpagmaewok as our screen name, and now I use just the gmaewok. The grandkids still call us grandma & grandpa Ewok once in a while, although they are now 15 and 13. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy when they do.
