    Mary, I'm sorry to hear this. I think of you and also of my now 96 year old neighbour who has finally given up driving to his youngish wife, Charlotte, who is a spry 88 years old now. I know because I got a slice of birthday cake.

    Is it the same issue, Mary? The sutures?

    The muscle tore from one of the sutures (the surgeon said he'd put in a tight suture there), and about 3 weeks ago a fistual develped. The surgeon said it could heal in 4 weeks, but the pain is getting worse. Surgery next, unless I can get Cassie to pray up a storm to St. Bonaventure and St. Jude. Thanks to all for their support.

    Thinking about you today, Mary, and crossing fingers and toes...sending up prayers...hoping that this situation will resolve satisfactorily for you. You are going through so much...I would like to see a total healing. It is terrible to be in pain all the time...really wears you down. Wish we were geographically closer, but I'm sending support and all good things by ESP.

    I'm not doing much here myself lately, but now that you mention Cassie, she is a delight! Would love to hear something from her. Having said that, we probably all go through the low times, the rough patches where we don't have the interest or energy to do any of it!
    I also haven't even read much here for 3 weeks to a month....how is Lindylou doing?
