Maybe this doesn't belong here, but I'm just curious. Did anyone watch Dr. Phil's interview with David Cassidy, about his dementia? If anyone did, I just wonder what you thought. I know dementia certainly changes behaviors, but it seemed there was something particularly odd about him. I can't explain it, can't put my finger on it, unless it was this idea of always trying to put on a positive face in social settings. I know for sure they can do that! Dan has been the champ.....

Yes I watched David Cassidy on the Dr. Phil show today. I watched most but not the entire show. I got the impression Dr Phil didn't completely believe he was not drinking at his last performance. I couldn't put my pulse on Dr. Phil but he annoyed me. He did not appear to have much compassion.

I didn't watch it but read about it I think last week. Besides a family history, he has a lifetime of drug and alcohol abuse. We all know there is an alcohol induced/caused Alzheimer's (with football players and their dementia).

Onewife, yes he himself acted differently. Your assessment might be right on target. I also wonder if David had been drinking before that last concert, the behavior seemed a little extreme for early stage Alz. In fact, I kind of wondered if he had had something before the show.....
