I wrote a comment this morning, but must not have clicked on the "add comment" button. (Well, I had just gotten out of bed--can be dangerous before I've had that wake-up cup of coffee.) Anyway, one more time: Welcome, MBJ, to the club none of us wants to belong to. As Jazzy said, how is it going? How can we help?
My husband was diagnosed in 3/2008 with dementia of the Alzheimer's type based on neuropsych testing and family history. I sent him to the doctor because I was tired of him not hearing me. I called it selective hearing. It was that part of his brain being affected. He now goes to day care 3 days a week, loosing more ground inch by inch. I live in Tri-Cities, WA.
