    Hi cassie*
I was wondering the same thing! It's seems like everyone has just disappeared. Maybe it's the week end.

    Hugs Jazzy

Hi cassie. Thanks for asking. Just seems to be same old thing around here. DH's Dr prescribed Flomax even though his prostate is still fine (since prostate cancer radiation treatment years ago). He is not making so many trips to the bathroom. And his pants are generally dry for most of the day.
Evenings are still a problem when he drinks too many beers. I have been somewhat successful cutting it down some. Still ambivalent about removing it altogether because soon it will not matter (dr agreed with that thinking) and he gets too angry sometimes without it. Of course ifhe has too many he gets angry then too. Work in progress. I need to make a more concerted effort to find alcohol free beer around here.

Limiting lactose has eliminated the bowel incontinence. Magic! Who knew we become lactose intolerant as we age?

I still have a problem trying to pleasantly ask for his smelly underwear and then having it tossed in my face! But at least he has been taking them off recently. I keep remembering the day we got married and swore to take care of each other forever and a day. There is no way to understand that this kind of thing could happen when you are so young. Sad to say that, no, I am not ok. There is nothing ok about this situation. But I am still alive. FWIW

We promised the same and he said he would never leave me and now he lives in LTC not with me and his mind is moving on as well. Heartbreaking.

Of course, no one is ok (but you know what I meant!)
Hope that there are some bright moments today, for you, Jazzy and bhv.
I eventually went to alcohol free beer for my dh and he was just as happy with that, bhv.
    All the best, cassie.

Thanks cassie. I really need to find that beer.

And, yes, I did know what you meant. It's just been a wild couple of days. And DH keeps saying "we're ok here. Everything is ok. Don't worry about it." He says that to our dog all day long too. So perhaps he does realize it is so far from ok here it is not funny and he is telling himself not to worry. I hadn't thought of it that way before.

I don't know where you live, but I have bought alcohol free beer at a grocery store.

I'm still around...just taking a break, I guess while I continue to recover from chemotherapy. Doing pretty well, actually.
