    Dear Amy Conoly,

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Southeast Recreational Therapy Symposium (SRTS), I congratulate you on receiving the Ann James Award as the outstanding presentation at the 2016 SRTS! Your presentation at the symposium in Gatlinburg, TN was rated by SRTS participants as the highest rated session. We use the symposium participants’ evaluation of each session to determine the best presentation each year. Your presentation, “If Words Aren’t Enough: Engaging Persons Living with Dementia in Recreational Therapy Programs” received outstanding marks.

To be recognized by symposium participants as the best of all presentations at the symposium is a significant accomplishment. The award will be presented to you at a general session of the 2017 SRTS in Savannah, Ga in April, and your name will be added to the list of previous recipients at our website www.srts.info

The board of directors would like to extend an invitation for you to present your session again at the 2017 symposium.

Again, on behalf of the board of directors of the Southeast Recreational Therapy Symposium, I congratulate you on this recognition and look forward to seeing you at the 2017 symposium.

    Sincerely,

    Beth Weiser

    Chair, Board of Directors
    Southeast Recreational Therapy Symposium
