My Name is Cathy and my mom has had vascular dementia for the past 16 years. She used to take turns living with me and my sisters but now I have decided to have her live me me permanently. She was in a nursing home for a year and I rescued her and now she is doing leap and bound better! I look forward to reading more information on this site.
Sorry to hear about your mom Cathy. This site is for spouses only. There are excellent support groups in Facebook (Memory People, Forget Me Not, US Against Alzheimer's), check with the Alzheimer's Assoc. message boards, etc.
