I finally found a way able to have a very nice anniversary meal with Kevan. I bought two combination Chinese food plates and we went to a very nice dining area and had our anniversary dinner. He was so happy to get the special food that he stayed calm and pleasant. Others came and interrupted us but he was alright. A little annoyed but OK. He won't go out with either of his two sons without me now so off we go for ribs tonight at Montana's. I enjoyed them taking him out before as it gave me a break but that is gone now.
That is not gone now. That is gone for now. Things are transitioning just as you are. Like so many here in their own struggles, you are finding ways to navigate through these transitions.
edit - you're also actually helping Kevan through this. You're doing just fine in a tough thing Jazzy. Try to keep that in the back of your mind.
