Joan, when I google your site (www.thealzheimerspouse.com) or just copy and paste it from the discussion boards into google search,(which I usually do to go to your main page) when it come up, it says underneath the name,"this site may be hacked." You may need to look into this? cassie*
Yes, I know. I wrote something about it on this board a couple of weeks ago. I have my computer guy looking into getting it fixed. He has to do a lot of stuff ( about which I know nothing) to prove to Google that the site is fine before they take that message off. It's okay to use the site.
Sorry, didn't meant to cause any bother, I was just concerned that the warning may put newcomers off if they had found Joan's site through the google search (which is how I found this site.)
Google has specific instructions for the webmaster. I wouldn't worry about it right now. That's been there for over two years.
It comes from the spammers that ocassionally open a thread and put a link in to something they're paid to push.
Almost every site has been hacked at some time or other. What protects this site is that there's nothing interesting for them here. You can get email addresses by the millions cheap and don't need to come here and pull them off.
There has never been a redirect since I've been here. The architecture of the software may prevent that, I can't tell without more information, but that's the only real thing to worry about.
