DH loved it! The other five fellows are at about the same stage as DH is and it turned out well. I was down the hall meeting with the other caregivers and that turned out good as well. He found out that this group joins with another group in two weeks and they invited him to go there as well. He had a great time sharing all his experiences in this journey with Dementia and listening to them share their journeys. I'm really happy I took him and his Ward nurse was really interested in sharing his information about the group meeting with other resident caregivers.
All went well and we will try it again in two weeks.

Hi Jazzy, Kevan never ceases to amaze me! I hope he will be able to enjoy these meetings for a long time to come. I also hope that you will benefit from sharing your experiences with the other caregivers.

Amaze you? Imagine how I feel. Today his new Resident Doctor came to see him and she was his Dr. when he first went there so she hasn't seen him since then and she was able to see the changes. She is so good with him and he likes her so I will have peace for awhile. He always tells me that they are "uneducated in Dementia care and I will have to take care of that. Like bring them up to date" He gave her an article to read and she said" I will read this for sure as you will ask me what was the second line of the third paragraph when I see you next week"
He is having pressure in his chest again when he get upset or over does it. The heart institute here told me last spring when they put the stent in, that he has other arteries that are partially blocked but not enough to do them at that time. I guess that will be happening soon. Also having pain in his head that is sharp and painful then gone. Likely more small strokes. Yes he is taking thinners but they still happen. that's the Vascular.
He is telling everyone about his meeting and how much he enjoyed it. He has another on the 27th.
