    For those of you who are paying for life insurance on your loved one with Alzheimers or they are paying for it, be advised that some policies have a waiver of premium for anyone disabled. Check with you life insurance agent, they will be able to tell you if you have this. The insurance agent sent me the form for the doctor to fill out. Sent it in and they waived the premiums and I got the last 2 years premiums back.

    This is a good thing for people to mention on occasion.

    Unfortunately my wife's life insurance policy doesn't include this clause.

    Also some life insurance policies have an "Accelerated Death Benefit" where you can use the money now to pay for nursing home/assisted living expenses.
