Thank you Shellseeker50, I am glad I finally did it and LFL, you are the first one to call me by my NEW name! Yeah!!! Charlotte, thank you for all your help. Even though my husband is not with me any more I hope that I can still belong to this wonderful group of surviving caregivers.
Deb, I am so glad you got a lawyer. If any situation screams for lawyer yours does. They can get info for you that you would find it hard to find and ferret out nefarious deeds done against you. They are your champion, advocate whatever you want to call it. Good luck and so sorry you have such a difficult situation.
Oh I just love the way this site can find things all over the place!! Interesting research, where do I go to find this info re drugs or care, beautiful poems etc.

this maybe just the place she needs. Alzheimer's caregivers make the best research assistants. We can find so many interesting sites.
My friend of 40 years, the last 30 years she was my wife, was taken away by her daughter Nov 2, 2013 just a few days after my bypass surgery ... which was good, because my wife has AD....Now I am stronger and healthier than before having just completed cardio rehab...but the daughter will NOT return her. At first the daughter insisted that we have an in home pro to care for her...then she would return her...I did not want anyone in our home. I later agreed, telling the daughter to contract with who ever she wanted...send her home...months later she is still gone. I am blessed that I am not dependent on anyone for financial support. We are both in our mid 80s, both with heart history....At this point, though heartbroken I have accepted the sad situation...and just want to be rid of them all...and get on with my life. I certainly sympathize with Deb. BB
