It has been quite awhile since I have interacted with this site or members that have been so diligent with posting status and personal accounts of their own stories. My wife's journey came to it's end October 26. A beautiful memorial service was held November 5th at our church in White Bear Lake. Dr. Glori was just 57 and had battled this dreadful disease for 10 years of which the last year was spent in a caring, loving memory care center. The tributes were amazing and it was almost breathtaking to try and remember the life that we once had. .We had kept friends/family informed through our Caringbridge site. I will gladly share our site for any that would like to be a participant in that endeavor. Just send me a personal email. So sorry for your loss. I know how difficult this time is. I lost my DH in Aug. I hope you have family and friends with you at this time of year especially.
