My DH went into the hospital last night and is expected to pass on in the next to two to three days. I have learned much here that helped last night in my conversations at the hospital. Thank you all for sharing your learnings with everyone.
dog, this is such a difficult time of year when we have an ill spouse...my heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in the days to come. I wish you all peace and strength.
Fiona68-Thanks so much for your offer and will keep it in mind. My husband is at Methodist and the Chaplin there has been very wonderful in preparing us for our journey the next few days.
Fiona68-That's so sweet. Thank you. I may do that, but they might have to move him to another hospice situation later this week. He has gone longer than originally predicted. They still believe it will be in the next week though. Every day is a blessing and at least so far they have been able to manage his pain. I will keep you updated.
