I'm Bettyhere* 7-27-03. I used to post a lot but in recent times I have not, tho I still monitor the board.
My daughter Deborah Dutilh (do-teal) is 60 today. On Sat she underwent surgery for brain cancer. She's doing well, in a good mood, but we don't yet know the details. Two years ago her 57 y.o. husband died of brain cancer. They have two wonderful sons in their 20's, Guillaume and Justin. I don't have to tell you what that means for them. I ask for your prayers for Deborah, Guillaume, Justin, my son Matthew Weiss and myself. I know there were prayer groups that helped us when my DH had AD, so I implore you to pray in your own way for these wonderful loving people. Blessings.
Betty- You have been such a help to us that once when we where new to this disease. I can't imagine what you're family must be going through. Your daughter is in my prayers.
Dear People: I want you to know how much your prayers helped, my daughter Debby said she could 'feel' them. Thank you, thank you, thank you. She had the staples removed yesterday from her brain surgery. They say they 'got it all' but is scheduled to have chemo/radiation, I think that takes about 6 weeks. Of course, she has her down moments, but mostly she is upbeat, we all are. A few days ago the doctor said she was strong enough to drive, and she did, last night. The best medicine is that her two sons, Guillaume & Justin, are with her. Tragically, they went thru this with their father two years ago and are handling it as well as can be expected. Her brother Matt and I are with her, she has good friends and the absolute best medical care possible. She is looking forward to a long life. Please pray for that, it helps, it really helps. Blessings. Betty Weiss
Betty, Absolutely you and your family are in my prayers. Wonderful news that they "got it all". Please keep us updated on Debby. Best wishes and love to your family
