    Have any of you read the reports about smelling peanut butter to help diagnose alz? I have noticed my DH can't smell much of anything anymore. I drve past a skunk the other day and he couldn't even smell it. He used to have super good smelling.

    Yes, loss of the sense of smell was one of my husband's first symptoms. Isn't it strange?

    My dh use to have super smell. I had notice he doesn't notice the smell of things now. It is strange.

    Mine doesn't have good smell either. Also, cause smell is going so is tasting.

    the PB test is done by seeing how close to the left nostril (think it is left) before they can smell it. I think there is a post somewhere with the link to the article.
