An old Hunting Buddy is coming to "Visit" and stay with my LO for four days while I tourist around a bit with my dogs. Pet friendly motels all set up. I am very overdue for some Respite. Just wish I wasn't so gosh darned tired. Hoping my energy will come back fast so I can enjoy Autumn in Montana. God Bless Our Friends...

ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!! if you need to just lay back and relax to recharge DO IT, you do not have to be active for the entire respite, even tho we all try to "make up for lost time"...have fun, enjoy, romp around with the dogs!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MsAbby, do you live in Montana or are you visiting? Watch out for the snow early next week? Enjoy your time off and this weekend will be especially beautiful.

Hi, Merry in Montana. I live near Helena. Will watch the Weather Channel and make sure to be close to home when the snow starts to fall. And bring my windshield scrapper. Thanks for the tip.

I'm not far from you. We had another Montana member who lived near Whitefish if I recall. He hasen't posted in a couple of years.

The trip was amazing. Some resting, some hiking, some tourist'ing. My heart rate, normal 80, settled into the low 60's, a sign of inner contentment. Beautiful scenery with lots of rivers & gullies for dogs to check out . Beat the snow snowstorm home and even had time to bring in enough firewood to hold us over. God Bless those who watch over our LO's a bit so we can get a break...
