DW has started a new behavior. She is getting undressed whenever my back is turned. While she's now in Home Hospice she still ambulatory and was able to accompany me on brief shopping trips, that is: until getting undressed in the check out line at Publix while I was paying,
There doesn't appear to be a clothing issue, nothing is irritating her nor is it incontinence related.
    Any thoughts?

Did you check for UTI? DH started doing this a couple of weeks ago - he would start to take his pants off BEFORE he started to the bathroom. No UTI, but he did need to go to the bathroom. It has now stopped? Why? No one knows

DW was tested two weeks ago and last wee, Trying to get a sample was quite the experience. She'd go into the cup then spill it out intentionally. I'll have to re-sterilize the container and start all over again.
I bought the UTI test strips kit everything is negative. No sign of itching or pain and doesn't appear to be related to need to urinate. It's impassive to question her, her entire vocabulary consists of one word, NO. She replies no to everything. More often than not leaving the bathroom I'll discover she's stripped down to her bra which is only left on because she cannot manipulate either a sports bra, front closure or a normal one.

Seems at the NH there are several women residents who keep trying to undress.I think it's part of the disease. That quick they can be down to their undies

I think there are some websites that sell clothing that are specific friendly for ladies when this happens. buck and buck maybe? something that fastens in the back ? maybe a belt that you can buckle in the back instead of front. I know I did this when I took my DH out in public the belt keeps them from taking down pants at least.
I hope this phase passes quickly -- not very convenient to be sure having them undress. try jogging pants that have elastic in waist and legs? and a pullover head. at least it could give you some warning.
    good luck

thanks I got a lot of ideas from the clothing websites I put a draw string in DW's shorts, tired in the back.
Removed tab from her shorts zipper I use a paper clip, and tied a knot in the rear of her tea shirt. Slows her down enough to make do until the mail order jump suits arrived
    much appreciated
