I got this referral from my support group leader. They are looking for stories for a 'Chicken Soup for the Soul' book specific for AD. There have been SOOOoooooo many stories posted on this board that I bet y'all would not even have to write anything rather you could just copy & paste your older post ;-) Anyway, follow the link and submit something.
Personally I think one of our poop queens should write something inspirational because I bet they have NEVER had stories related to that dementia experience(!) Jim

You sure do get involved in a lot of interesting stuff. This sounds like a great idea for promoting awareness. It should be very easy for me to participate because I write all of my stories in note pad. (I took Wolf's suggestion) So I can easily copy and paste them.
I looked at the site and see that they will even pay you if they use your story, But for me. it would be payment enough just to know that someone thought that some words I put together were worth reading.
They say it may take 3 or 4 years before publication and at my age, I'll probably be dead by then, But what have I got to loose? I want to do anything I can to help you Jim. I think you are really putting yourself out there and doing some good in the world....GeorgieBoy
