This looks very interesting and as noted in the article will be available in October. It is a wonderful format for caregivers who have limited stretches of time and can reach many people is isolated places or conditions.
I must have missed something. I couldn't find where the article discussed nonpharmacologic management of symptoms. I thought I was linking about on online course coming up in October. Sorry if I flubbed up; I will try to figure it out.
There is a mention of nonpharmacologic management of behavioral symptoms. But this does not necessarily mean no medications. Sometimes meds don't work, have horrible side effects or are used without trying other methods. My wife is on various pharmacologic meds but it is also important for other non-med ways of dealing with her behavior. Such as the ALF keeping to her room cleaning schedule.
