My DH has just come home from respite at the LTC home were he is waiting to move to permanently. He has been very calm and helpful but yesterday he was back to his old demanding self. Last night he came and crawled into my bed. When I asked him if he was alright he told me he was lonesome. I guess he is missing his friends from the LTC and the staff. There is always someone around while here there is just me!
I have no idea how to help him with this as I am not his favourite person. I have no idea how to help him with this.

Is it possible for him to visit the LTC for the afternoon activities? They might be OK with that seeing as he is going to be there permanently.

    Hi
Well I sure learned something new today. When DH is down and appears lonesome,, WATCH OUT, he is heading for a nasty period. Yesterday was not good. I was threatened and screamed at and to told to get out and accused of all kinds of nasty things. I will be more careful from now on and keep and eye on these signs.
If you are interested in my day yesterday go to threads Shirley was threatened.

Not much I can do until he is declared and no Dr. Wants to take on that job.

Would it be safer for you to sleep in the car? I've heard the sound of my dh's voice with that kind of anger. Do be careful. Thinking of you.

Not possible! If he can't find me he starts yelling for me and panics! I have sent an email to his geriatric nurse and she will be I touch with me likely Monday! He may need his Meds adjusted.
