I recently met a woman caring for her husband for over 5 years. She refers to herself as a comfort keeper. I thought it sounded so nice. It seems thoughtful and sweet and not a hardship or a dutiful task. I'm sure it doesn't make the job any easier but makes you stop and think about what you are doing and why. I wish had known that term when I needed it. Any thoughts? Carol
I like that term "comfort keeper" since I don't see myself as a wife and my main goal is to keep my DH comfortable. Thanks for sharing. I will now be known as a Comfort Keeper!
