The BBC reported on an interesting study of the effects of a full moon on sleep. Something we all know about.

I don't need reports to tell me its real. my DH goes into much more acute jerking episodes at every full moon. amazing stuff. but quite real. its gone after a day or so of the moon passing

My husband died with the full moon. That last night I sat with him and watched it rise and set. Although his alf was in a neighborhood with which I was not familiar it seemed like there were so many sirens. Also cat fights. I can't really speak to the effects of the moon while he was alive but can only affectively confirm what divvi has said.

As an aside comment, the last night he was home, after he was taken to the hospital I went outside and saw the brightest shooting star which I also interpreted as a sign.

To this day, when the moon is full I go outside and think how many of us may be outside at the same time, looking at that moon and thinking our thoughts. For some reason I have done that since I found this forum, thinking about us from Holland to Hawaii and everywhere else in between.

Thank you abby! For the nice thought, it is nice to know that we are all sticking together when everything around us is falling apart.
