At times of course I have to leave the house to run errands, do work which I am self employed and have to leave FTD hubby at home. My problem is I will write down my cell number every time and leave it on the nightstand for him to call me if he needs me and what he does is call the house phone and leaves messages on the voicemail. How can this be? What can I do that he reaches me and not the voicemail at home. It is clear he is not reading the numbers? And in his cell phone I put my name and then cell after and then my name and home after it. He has it set up on voicecommands so he doesn't have to dial but its not working. Any suggestions?
You could also try call forwarding. You can forward all calls from house calls to your cell. That way if he calls the house it will forward to your cell. You can set it back to regular call when you return home.
