    I find myself wondering if an infection anywhere in the body can cause our spouses to be much worse in a short time,what do you think?

    Yes, most definitely. A urinary tract infection can cause much confusion and distress, for instance.

    I think most any kind of infection will cause more confusion.

    my answer is most definitely yes. any kind of infection big or small. today we are battling a VERY low grade temp, no more than half a degree over normal and its reaked havoc on DH. I have him on acetometaphen suppositories for fever and pain. so yes over years of seeing this I can say any infection will be of consequence. some in bigger scale than others.
