Yesterday hubby was going to cut the grass with a push mower. I was out back in the garden when I hear a motor start up. No motor in the push mower. So down I do to find him cutting the grass with the snow blower!

Just have to shake your head and chuckle.

I love it! What a moment to remember!! He is really trying. I hope your tears are dry and the break in your heart is back together after that.

Amber, I could just picture my DH doing the same thing. I am curious, what, if anything (other than laughing) did you do about it?
Did he realize his mistake, did you stop him, or just let him carry on? I ask, because I could quite easily be placed in a similar situation, although right now our neighbor is "storing" our snow blower for us. :-)

That just made my day. I once handed DH the deodorant stick and he lifted his chin rubbed it under. Those are the moments that get you through it.

bonnie - I just said opps wrong machine and pointed to the mower I had put out for him. When he saw the mower he realized his mistake. I just left him to sort it out. Didn't want to bring too much attention to it.

You do just have to chuckle. I never believed these moments would one day be looked back on with such fondness and tenderness. I wish I had kept a journal of all these kinds of moments. You did wonderfully not making a big deal out of it. ♥

Nikki, I, too, wish I had kept a journal of those moments. At least we have the "alrighty then" thread here.

My chuckle: my backyard is much desert landscaping surrounded by a pool, pool decking and turf (you know the stuff the golf courses have in place of grass/ the artificial stuff). I asked husband if he would mind cleaning the debris on the turf as the wind had blown sticks, twigs, and other junk on it. Instead of using a leaf blower...he wanted to rake it up like real grass. Thank God he didn't get out the weed killer and mower to cut it. Perhaps if I wasn't supervising that would have been the next step. Wondering if he's considered why it stays green all year long without water?

We knew people in Nevada that had artificial grass. He took the blade off the mower so he people would think he was cutting it.
