    Hi Everyone,

I don't know if everyone is aware that I update the Blogs, Daily News, Announcements, and much more on the website's home page every day. If you log onto www.thealzheimerspouse.com each day before you go to the message boards, you will see all of the updated information.

In another thread, Val mentioned that I had not answered one of her e-mails. There has been a picture and announcement on the home page for about two weeks that I am WAY behind in answering e-mails. My intention is to make this website as personal as possible, thus, I like to answer e-mails personally, as opposed to sending a "one size fits all - I got your e-mail" letter, but these last two weeks have been physically busy and emotionally overwhelming for me, so I just have not been able to get to all of them.

Please be assured that I do read each and every e-mail and try to answer every one personally, but when I get way behind, it is hard to catch up. I love hearing from all of you, and hope you continue to send the e-mails, but it can now take up to 3 weeks for me to answer.

Joan-please don't let "getting behind" add to your stress-unless of course it is my e-mail you don't answer :-)

    Joan,
It certainly wasn't meant as a criticism! I know what you've been through in these past several weeks. Don't feel compelled to answer. Think it was about diet preventing AD, & I was wondering if it was truly newsworthy. Nothing urgent in that! I'd rather see you spending time on getting organized for that book. :-)

    Joan.

Just give yourself a big hug, feel the love, and take a deep cleansing breath.

Joan: I don't know where you get the energy. If you were my daughter I'd tell you to whoa-down, you are over-extended--and if you were my daughter, I know what you'd say. We all appreciate what you do and understand all that you must do for Sid on top of everything else. We don't want you to get sick. Oh, have a chocolate, my treat.

Joan, just remember that there is only one of you and hundreds?? of us. A lot anyway. Hang in there. Don't get overstressed.

Thank you everyone. I am sleeping as much as possible this weekend.

Thanks Betty - chocolate always puts a smile on my face. Unfortunately, it's putting more fat cells on the other end, so starting Monday, here we go again - back to the Trim Club.

I've gone from 112 lbs. (for years) to 137 lbs. In one year. I'm just fat & happy due to Lexapro. Apparently it slows your metabolism. Who the heck
CARES? And chocolate (dark) is an antioxidant.

There you go again, making me laugh. I think I'm going to stick with the humor threads & forget about the rest. I already KNOW the rest is BAD.

Speaking of chocolate, for years when we went sailing we always had Hershey's Special Dark chocolate on the run home. Then for some reason my wife stopped doing it. Today I went sailing with daughter #1, and she broke out the Hershey's Special Dark. It brought back lots of memories. Made me both sad and happy at the same time.
