Everyone: Having a very tough day with hubby. Grass in the yard is way too high. Weather is beautiful. I told him I was headed out to cut the grass. He grabbed my knee and yelled NO YOU ARE NOT. I just blew it and am so upset right now - what am I supposed to do? How am I supposed to deal with him? He suggested that I go ahead and divorce him. I told him no that I didn't want to divorce him, that I love him, but that I also need to take care of us and our home. Of course he can't comprehend that. Thanks for listening. I'm just sort of at the end of my rope this morning.

Awww, this is so hard! DH gets upset if I go in the yard to do something. Then he wants to help -but can't really do anything. I usually wait a few minutes, then tell him I'm going in the backyard for a few minutes and will be right back. Then I lock the door so he can't get out. I'm never away from the door so far that I can't see him, though.

I did hire a neighbor to mow our lawn so that has helped.

We're here for you, with arms around you.

I am listening too. Can you just go out and work in the yard, without mentioning it to him? SO sorry for your rough day.

Can you hire someone to mow? The first time I did dh was upset but then he forgot soon. The next time the man came to mow he didn't even mention it or ask what I paid the guy. Sorry this happened you don't need this. Take a deep breath, fix a cup of coffee/tea or the drink of your choice then relax. You've earned it!

flo39* he sleeps pretty late every day so I have thought about having someone come to mow early in the morning. The unbelievable thing was that after I had lost it and fussed at him and then felt bad he looked at me and said "so are you going to cut the grass"??? Then he proceeded to go outside and help and seemed to enjoy the beautiful weather we had today. It was good therapy for me to get get on the riding lawn mower and ride!
