A couple of days ago we had a letter from my DH's sister in Ohio. She had typed and of course because of Alz it was pretty messy. She is now saying because of the problem she had at the Senior apartment with the one woman she can stay at the ALF for 5 years and doesn't have to pay!!! First of all the woman wasn't the problem SIL was. I know she came up with the free stay for 5 years because of the Alz but do you think my DH believes that? He is wondering who put that idea in her head....I've told him it is the Alz but that goes over like a lead balloon. Then he wants to know why they don't tell her the truth. I've also told him it doesn't matter what anyone says she will believe what she wants to. He doesn't believe that either. I don't know if he just isn't getting it about Alz or he doesn't want to. I just wish he would stop bringing up his sister and not getting into things he isn't going to believe anyway. I know he thinks if we go up there and he "talks" to her she will understand everything he says. I can see it being a really short visit because neither he or his sister have patience and one or the other will blow up.
