    Talked to a friend last night that told me about a mutual friends wife,about a month ago they left for Florida when they arrived wife showed signs of memory lost,couldn't walk,they brought her back to Mich an she is now in hospice not expected to make it thru the week,doctors in Ft Myers told them they believed it was new type of Alzheimers,that is scary if drs were correct.

    Wow, strange . . . . Sounds more like a stroke (vascular dementia?) than the accumulation ot the plaques and tangles of Alzheimers.

    That is what I thought m-mman. My dh was basically stable for several years. Then one evening he had what I thought was a TIA and within a couple of weeks he was gone. In fact the Hospice Nurse had been here the same day he had what I thought was a TIA and told me that they might have a difficult time getting him certified for them to continue. After he died she thought he had had a series of the TIA and that is what made the rapid total decline.

    Well she passed yesterday so I'll hear more later in the week,only 67.
