When my DH first became a victim of AD, I found this website and it was such a help and comfort to be able to interact with so many who were walking the same unhappy path. My DH's condition finally progressed to the point where he had to be admitted to a nursing home. After living there for one year, he passed away. I was fortunate to have been with him when he died. I held his hand and told him how much I loved him, and thanked him for a beautiful love and life together. During the days that followed, I held tightly to my memories and decided to put my feelings into writing a book about our beautiful love story. It is a tribute to a special man who gave all of himself to those he loved, until he could give no more. It is currently listed on the website of the Balboa Press Book Store as "My Love," by Patricia, and it is my hope that it will be of some comfort to all of you who are on the same journey.
God bless all of you as you continue on your journey.
I congratulate you on the publication of your book. Please give us the direct link to the book. I went to the Balboa Press Book Store, and typed in My Love by Patricia with no results. Because I have the Alzheimer Spouse adminstrative account, I was able to find your last name (not visible to anyone on this site for privacy purposes) and I typed that in, but still no results. Help!
