I saw something about this new book on TV and Googled it. It looks interesting--a group of "young" widows who didn't find traditional grief groups appropriate and started their own support group, took trips together, etc. It sounds like the focus is on widowhood during one's 40's to 60's and what this group did to kickstart their lives. I plan to read it. Although I'm not officially a widow yet, I sort of feel that the title fits my situation and perhaps it actually began the day of the dx, when I was 56.
I've started listening to the Audio Version of it. Interesting story line. Lots of insight. Getting good stuff from it already and I'm only a quarter of the way through it. Clearly not just for widows. It covers lots of things, especially how these women navigated thru extreme personal grief. Anyone else reading it yet?
