My daughter and husband were in a movie theater when the film stopped and the lights went out. Emergency lights lasted only a few minutes. No staff came into the theaters to tell what was going on or what people should be doing. Those with smart phones could turn on their flashlights, others were- well-in the dark. If it had been a sniper with night vision glasses it would have been a turkey shoot. What will it take to get people and staff trained. Turned out to be an electric pole hit by something.
Actually daughter & I were in a movie recently, movie stopped, lights went on & staff immediately came & told us to evacuate. It was scary, given what goes on, but it turned out to be a false alarm fire, engines came, etc, and we all got tickets to come back. So some are trained. Wish it were everyone. Glad your family was all OK.
