I posted this on Facebook for my family, so I won't have to make phone calls every day. Just wanted you to know that I will be away from the website for a few days - maybe a week - to deal with my father's issues. He is currently in the hospital with congestive heart failure. Hoping to stabilize him enough so he can be moved to a NH. Between Day Care, my cousin, and help from the AL next door, I have coverage for Sid while I am at the hospital.
My father is almost 95 years old, so our main goal is to make him comfortable and let nature take its course.
When it rains it pours. We will all be fine doing what we do here...you have more important things then us right now. Take care and hope things go well for you.
Thoughts and prayers sent your way... I'm so glad you are rested and can deal with this crisis. Having someone take care of Sid is a sign that you are, indeed, thinking clearly and doing what must be done. Love and hugs... Nancy B*
Extending my condolences for your loss. You and your family were so fortunate to have him with you a long time. Celebrate the gift his life has been for you. Peace be with you.
So Sorry Joan. I know your father is at peace and I hope you will find time to get some rest and take care of yourself until it's time to take care of Sid again.
One less place setting needed at your table now. The burden of care was replaced by a burden of grief.
I am glad you were able to be in attendence for the final curtain as you were all the prior acts. May your life's demands continue to ease in the months ahead. You deserve some rest. Jim
