General: Star disappeared

    My * disappeared. Awhile back I had a problem with my account and it started showing me as a new member. I don't post often anymore, so don't know what the problem is. And when I go to my account it says this name is already taken and won't let me add the star.

    Maybe Carosi (now Carosi 2) can help. If I remember correctly, she had a similar problem.

    When I added my * the next time I needed to log-in,I had trouble. Nothing workesd. I e-mailed Joan ande she tried. It was aproblem even for her, so she had to work her computer magic plus rerehgister me as Carosi2^. Somehow she has my entries all linked up.

    Joan---howcan we avoid this problem?

    I have an idea. Space between your name and the Star and see if that works.

    NancyB* is me... But I could also be Nancy B* or NancyB *.

    Or add an underscore. I know how frustrating these silly computer/laptops can be.. but we MUST prevail.

    They are ONLY machines.

    Or try 2 stars...sometimes that works or try two stars with a space between them.

    I solved the problem. When I tried to add a star I got the message that there was already someone with that name, so I just signed out of the boards and then signed in as PrisR* and here I am again. Whoopee!

    IPad was harder to add the star. Had to go to the numerals keyboard and down at the bottom on the right there's a button with more choices. When I opened it up there was a whole keyboard of choices, including the star. I learn something new every day!
