2 poop patrol horrors in a week have required me to find something to calm me and entertain me. So I have been recording as many new shows as I can to watch when I am not shoveling s.....t, so to speak.

Everyone knows how much I love animals, especially dogs, so how could I resist a new comedy set in a vetenary office? I often wonder how some of these shows make it onto TV. Are the purchasers of these programs on drugs? Blind? Deaf? Dead? This was one of the worst shows I have ever seen since I watched my first TV program when I was about 5 years old. To be fair, I gave it two tries.

Then there was the much hyped Matthew Perry show - "Go On". After one and a half tries, I am "going on" as far away as I can get from it.

The 3 Dad show was amusing and worth another shot.

I liked the Sherlock Holmes show, except that the accent and fast talking made it hard to understand what he was saying.

    Definitely liked Made in Jersey.

Anyone care to voice an opinion? Recommend a show? Pan a show? I need some fake TV lives to take my mind off of my real life.

It's sort of like Lost. Problem I got lost in the plot as it became to convoluted.

It's not new, but the only show I won't miss is "The Middle"

I'm looking forward to Call the Midwife, which begins Sunday night on PBS. It was a huge hit in Britain, and I like a lot of English shows. I'm looking for shows that are not too stressful to watch—shows where nobody is murdered and nothing gets blown up.

My favorite is Grimm from last year. Love to escape with all the spookiness and weird stuff. Love it.

There's a new spooky show this year - 666 Park Avenue. Looking forward to that one.

Another favorite, although not new, is Mike and Molly. That show keeps me laughing throughout. The supporting cast is hilarious. Every one of them.

Vegas which followed NCIS and NCIS - LA was good. We tend to stick to CBS shows, really do not like comedies although in reruns on cable stations we become fans. I read an article about the worse new shows and the vetenenary one was one of them. So was Vegas but said it should be given a chance.

We don't watch a lot of TV.
When we do watch, it's mostly news shows, sports or movies!

But last season I really got into Revenge. I love it.
    It returns tomorrow.
I don't know that it would be easy to pick up though - so many twists and turns!

Still a Gleek, too, so that is the other show I am watching.

And of course there is Downton Abbey, but that doesn't come on until January.

Grimm, the Middle, Elementary, both NCIS shows ... all winners. Tonight CBS has some more winners ... The Good Wife and The Mentalist!

The Middle, Modern Family, and Parenthood are my favorites. I record them and watch later - usually in bits and pieces.

Joan, I must disagree with you re Animal Practice. The monkey alone makes it worth watching. Yes, the writing could be better, but I'm a fan of the lead actor whom I've admired for 8 years on "Weeds". Hopefully, it will improve.

Joan! Agree totally about "Go On" as in go on without me!

I mostly look forward to my old favorites, "The Good Wife" and "SVU".

I am addicted to all things "Project Runway" and looking forward to their all star challenge later this month.
