Carol, I agree with your statement that "given the choice between a lengthy dementia passing, or this, I got my wish for him". I think deep down, we all feel this way. You have so much wisdom and experience to share . If it's not too hard for you, I hope you can stay with us.
Carol, May God grant you peace and understanding now and in the coming months. Ron was very blessed to have been loved and cared for by you. Now take your rest and recharge your batteries. You are a true gift to so many of us. In my prayers Phyllis
You have been so kind, so helpful and so emotionally generous. Please accept my sympathy. Peace, comfort and the presence of loved ones, both people and animals- Ron must be in a wonderful place.
Carol, my condolences go out to you. May you find the peace that Ron has now found. I am so glad he passed peacefully. You are so sweet and have done so much. Rest your body and soul and know we are all with you in the up coming days......
Carosi. I'm sorry to see this, but will also say a huge THANK YOU for your comments and helpful sharing here. Praying for you and your family's comfort now.
Ronalways n sisted, "When I go I want to be gone. I don't want any extraordinary measures done. And I want everything done in 24 hours." My answer was, I can promise all but the 24 hourlimit. I willprzomise to get evezryhing done as soon aspossile." I'm down o the details now. His memorial service will be Frday. His Obiuary will be online Wednesday and Thursday ( www.mlive.com ) and in the Grand Rapids Press Thursday. He was a plain and simple man and I've done my best to keep everything plain and simple.
Again, your caring support is greatly appreciated.
