I am not having the best of days. My daughter had serious spine surgery yesterday and we are still waiting to hear from the doctor. At a moment's notice I have to prepare hubby and take off to daughter. At least DH is safe in an ALF with my supervision. I am passing time noodling around on my computer. On or two cats are usually around to supervise. I felt terrible when I got a leg cramp and kicked the cat during the spasm. Of course I apologized profusely to the poor boy. Imagine my surprise when I spotted them both on the sofa looking at me like I was crazy. My foot was tangled in the mat under the computer. Oh-well!

I don't know how, but despite the worst of circumstances you can still hand out the humor. Hope your daughter has a speedy recovery.

bluedaze- hope your daughter has a speedy recovery. I bet your cats made a mental note stay away from the desk when Mom is at the computer. :)

Could my cat please apologize to me? This morning she jumped on my keyboard, and suddenly, everything went sideways. I emailed my son, a computer systems engineer for help, he has remote access to my computer. Since it's really hard to type with the screen sideways, I just said, help, cat did it.

So no answer except ....?....., so I placed a call, and he was busy with a client. Told me to call Dell tech support. I have the newest of new of everything, my Christmas gift from my son. On hold forever, I didn't even understand the questions the robot was asking. Finally got someone in India to help me get things straight. Oh kitty, PLEASE leave my computer alone. I had to ask the guy to repeat everything twice, sometimes 3 times, because of his accent. Not good, kitty. But I love you.

Don't feel bad, Val. My son is a computer whizz. He was working with my baby granddaughter on his lap. You guessed it-suddenly everything was sidewise. The tech guy who worked him through it said it was a first for him. Did you get things fixed. A long time ago my microwave oven stopped blowing air. Husband called service and they talked him through dismantling the beast. The cause-a pertified lizzard caught in the fan-a first for them. We do live in Florida so these things happen.

Yes, I got things fixed. If it happens to anyone else with a naughty kitty. (Or child) You hold down your Control button, then the ALT button & turn it around with the arrow keys.

I asked the guy not to laugh when I explained what had happened, but who could help but laugh at a lizzard?

I love the Dell guys in India. They try so hard to help you. But my last two times I got American kids instead. Where are my nice Indian guys? I don't have any problems with the accent, but I've dealt with weird and wonderful accents all my life. A little music with the words really don't bother me at all.
