I did survive the graduation trip for our grandson!!!! I was worried and on edge the whole weekend but THANK the LORD Paul did really well. The 3 hours trip each way was made easier by our daughter riding with us and keeping her Dad distracted. He even did well at the graduation itself, just said sure takes longer at college graduations. We were gone from Fri. till Sun. and all he ask was PLEASE do not make me take that LAXATIVE while we are gone. So even though I might have been wrong I did as he ask. So we are home again and the AD monster will again control our lives but for a little while The LORD choose to give us a break.

Oh bak how wonderful it went well. My youngest son graduated from college this Sat. also. We did not go because he chose not to walk. I am pretty sure it had something to do with his father, 5 years ago we went to my daughter's grad. and it was a logistical nightmare getting dh to the venue the long walking slow, he refused a wheelchair plus fear of incontinence etc etc ....my daughter's was 2-day drive whereas his is only 2hrs. but he came up for mother's day and we had nice visit. Dh had forgotten he graduated until we started talking about it. Oh well... we are having a celebration for him on the 25th which dh asks about 20 or more times a day. I just answer, it gives me something real to say to him.

Daughter #3 graduated on Saturday. Bringing Jeff is no longer an option, so this is the first graduation he has missed. Sunday, drove son from MD back to NC for a summer mini-semester and got him moved in. Ok...now to the ALF to see how Jeff's doing.
