Thank you divvi....AND NELSON....THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.....The watch has been found.
Nelson...those sites you listed for me to read set me on the path to finding the watch. One of the articles
talked about hiding things. They said that usually the AD person hides things in the same place. Several
months ago I was going through his dress clothes, suits, sport coats, etc. deciding what to take on a cruise.
I found a small litte pouch filled with coins in one of the pockets.....so taking the info from the site you sent me to and going back to his hiding place....there I found the watch....the look on his face was like a child at Christmas time...however, the first words out of his mouth were "How did those med guys know where to put the watch." I had to laugh.

Once he hid $400 in the back of a stud finder....but, now he does get to have very much money in his pocket.

The staff at the care center where my hb was had this "motto:" Whatever it takes...and then some." Fits all caregivers, I think.

JudithKB, just a word of caution......if he hid it once he will do it again. I can't tell you how many times my DH hid watches, coins, money etc. I really tried to be vigilant about knowing where things were, but in the end it was always lost. He had a roll of money (about $300) & he would consantly lose it. Then of course he would accuse me of stealing it. It always would show up in the weirdest places. Unfortunately the last time it disappeared.........it disappeared. I am hoping that some day when I clean out to move either I or our kids will find it.
