While I have seen the first part of this discussed; many of you indicate that your spouse can and often does talk not stop for hours, I have never seen the second issue discussed. My wife can talk non-stop for hours, not a few minutes, but for hours---3-4 at a time. Most frequently, she will change subjects every few minutes. The other morning I let her talk without interruption for over an hour and she changes subjects/topics 22 times. The topics usually bear no connection to each other; its like she just "grabs" something out of the blue and starts talking about it. She will even change subjects right in the middle of a sentence. While this is not as irritating as some behaviours, it is still driving me nuts--of course it does not take much lately to put me in that state. Just wondering if anyone else is going through this.
Charlie, my DH paces and talks to himself non stop for mim 2hr day in the evenings. i can set my watch at 4pm..:) as i type there he goes, talking about anything and everything and even laughs at some stuff have no clue what its all about -it seems to calm him down and he wears himself out and does getsome exercise so i let it go...he will be in bed asleep by 8pm...which is good. i dont think they can process words or make meaningful sentences much so they just say whatever comes to mind. if its something that just started maybe could be some sort of infection that can make them do unordinary things=divvi
