In honor of my birthday on Saturday, St. Pat's Day, Coco says (right, Coco?) we can gather on her lanai, wear leis of plumeria flowers, feast on her coconut candy and laze around all day. I will furnish the cake and ice cream. We will tell jokes, sing songs and put all our problems on the back burner.
well lets not stop with the candy then! a roasted pig luau with lots of tropical green drinks and umbrellas sounds just fine by me. bring some of those lovely hula girls and fire toting bronzed guys too. :) i can see coco breezing thru the limbo stix too with her obvious expertise in all things hawaii. surf, sand, drinks, good company and lotsa food. now thats a good st paddys day. me, i will bring lots of fresh fruits drizzled in chocolate.
count me in....st patrick's day was the day DH said and I quote "I think I'm falling in love with you". My answer"don't". Well, that didn't work-almost 30 years later! Coco, count me in....umbrella drinks, sun, sand, half-naked men....oh my, too much imagination. Happy Birthday Coco & Shirely!!!!
ladies go to utube and learn how to hula. and be sure to use some of that self tanner before the party. no white legs are acceptable in hawaii - after 5min of practice and Several reruns of that video, i now have my 'kaholo'? down pat. grin
coco, i assume your half naked men are also bringing a nice supply of grasskirts and coconut bra outfits for us to dress in?? whats a hula without a grasskirt!!! and i'll have one of those beautiful flower head garlands please. since it is st paddys day, everyone needs to wear green underwear and yes you must wear some. .. hehe. phranque scratch that red thong you got last time, get a green one before the luau.
a wee dram of irish whiskey may be in order before the nights up.

Shame on you Coco...you told me you wouldn't mention the gas....but, I do want to inform you and others the tanner works fine on your legs if you don't want to shave them.
What cute guys....who was that one guy that that was taking measurements of the gals for the "green" coconut bras he brought??...thought that was a great idea for St. Pat's day...green coconut bras. We should make this an annual party.

Me again. Maybe we should all invite ourselves (really) to visit Coco at some designated time in the future and really have a party to honor all of us fabulous women (and men) who have given so much of ourselves and really deserve to have a good time and forget all of our troubles and just relax. I'm ready!!
I think we should put this thread to bed for another year. We had a great time. Coco was exceptionally hospitable, food and drink were great. Best birthday party I have ever had!!
tee hee hee...I do have awfully white legs even though I live here. Gas powered leg tanner, oh yes, of course that is what I meant...

Then Hawaiian band that plays at our fair sang Happy Birthday, I was so depressed earlier on as he was not able to comprehend, but so many were so kind.

How about a strip tease artist for next year....maybe one of those dancers would do it. We older gals know how to have real fun...comes from more experience...if you get my drift.
