why not put you email address in your profile - only members can see it there. Mine is there. Then you can converse with people and set up a good time to phone.

I do not talk much on the phone either. My hb is always here close to me, so I can't talk much and some peoples phones are really hard to hear. My dil is one - her's is either garbled, cutting out, or she is on speaker and hard to hear.
