We had a visit with Dh's Dr, she has now recommended aricept patches to see how he would go with them....but she also picked up that I was feeling down and starting to get depressed, she said I was looking a lot more tired than i have ever been so far, so has recommended resipte sooner rather than later. I got in contact with his day care provider who also does respite and we can give it a go next weekend...They will pick Dh up Friday afternoon at 3pm, and bring him home Sunday afternoon. All meals included of course, maybe a bit of shopping, movies, and a visit to the Sunday morning flea market...all for $70.. He heard me on the phone arranging all this and wanted to know what was going on....I told him " they are having a function, and they asked if he could go and help out a little, he may need to stay overnight as it could go on till late"...My problem now is on the day, how it going to go. what to say to him, when he sees me packing his bag, I guess just try to go with i already said..and hope he goes with it...what would you have said?
Stick with the basicsqand emind him it'll run late and he'll stay over, when hesees yoiu packing for him. What are you going to do? Remember, no chors. This time is for you.
