Of course, I remember Kitty! Her posts were always so interesting. And I was happy to see that she had posted recently, I think it was on the "a dear soul has passed" regarding Bama's husband. Only wish she'd post more often and let us know how she is doing. At least we know that she is back in her own house, and it is all cleaned up and repaired. Happy birthday, Kitty. How are all you little furry friends?

I did a search and see that I've missed a lot of your posts. Now I'm caught up and know that you have a grand-dog, but no cats at the moment.
  2.
I don't know Kitty but came across her name during searches. If she is the same poster I am thinking of I remember she had a lot of challenges with her husband, and moving and a lot of the posts were about legal advice.

Regardless, I felt myself really cheering for her (you) if you are reading.

Oh thank you all for your birthday wishes! I love your cat Nikki, will have to draw a sketch so I can remember how to do that. I don't check in often. It seems that as the months went by there were so many names I didn't know. I will always be grateful for all the support and encouragement I received here.

My now ex-husband is coming over today to install the Roku my son gave me for my birthday. His technical skills are still good, and mine have always been practically non existent. We still help each other out with things like rides if our cars break down, etc. He has helped me some with my house, installing blinds, hanging art, etc. There is no man in my life (yet) so this comes in handy. He babysat my cat Katrina at his place over the Xmas holidays. She is so shy & frightened of people. I checked with a boarding service & the delux service provided petting. Oh no, this is not for my princess. She hides as far away from strangers as possible. So she did very well on her "vacation." She remembers him & is comfortable around him. He did a great job in caring for her.

I do have a granddog Parker who lives in NYC with my son & daughter in law. I think this is hilarious: They spent 45 minutes discussing what the dog should call me. They had chosen Grandma, but I didn't want to be Grandma. After lots of suggestions, we finally settled on Nana. Like the dog can call my name! Haha.

I may be a grandmother, but we'll see. My son & daughter in law went to a fertility specialist, 2 failed invitro fertilizations, the last one in Nov. after surgery to clear up endometriosis. Then they were declared infertile & they put themselves on a waiting list for adoption. After that in January they went on a week vacation in Paris. Well, weeks later she did a home pregnancy test & it was positive. Went to her ob-gyn, and on Feb. 15 they did an ultrasound & there was a 6 week old embryo with a heartbeat! Seems it was a Paris miracle. Next week will be week ten, and they are not telling anyone except family until week 12. They know this is tenuous, but we are hoping for the best. They did this one all on their own.

Nikki, I studied your cat's feet, but can't figure out how you made the 3 mark toe pads at the top of the ( ) Anybody know?

    Love to you all,
    Kitty

Well, I can't figure out how to make the second whisker either, meow.
  3.
Try apostrophes to make the 3 lines; equal signs for both whiskers! How clever, Nikki.

Kitty, so great to have words from you!! ♥ I had to laugh that you have a granddog, precious!! I will say extra prayers for your son and DIL, please do let us know. It is nice to hear that you and your ex are getting along so well now. It sounds like you are in a good place, and for that I am glad!!!

Yes the kitty is made with the equal sign, shift 6, 2 periods, shift 6, then another equal...

    =^..^=

The feet look better on a forum like this, when you try to do it in word the apostrophes make the curly cue, but still cute

    ( ''' ) ......= ( + space + 3 ' +space + )

or...... you can just copy and paste! LOL

I am a bit of a keyboard ‘art’ junky :)
