    I wish I knew what was going on.my DH drops almost everything he picks up,advice anyone?

    It could be the muscles in his hands weakening, but there are physical disabilities associated with AD. I would definitely alert the doctor.

    Yes, please get in touch with his doctor. My DH was doing that about a year ago and that is when his dr. diagnosed the Parkinson's. That doesn't mean that your DH is check it out.

    I think they just don't get the message from the brain to keep holding the item. Lloyd has been dropping things for about a year. I still occasionally let him hold a glass to drink, but I am right there to catch it if he drops it. If he has a myoclonic jerk, there is nothing I can do except clean up.
