Thanks, I did the same and found it. Very interesting article. DH had many of the same behaviors before we had a diagnosis. It was very hard on our marriage-I was considering divorce after putting up with his sh*t for 2 years-then he was diagnosed. I'm still here.
My DH, for about a year, has not been able to understand what I call "expressions." If I were to say, "...it would make your hair curl " referreing to a scarry show, he would not know what it meant and question me. He would say something like, "why would you want curly hair?" I have never seen it described in an article before.
Loss of abstract thought was one of my husband's first symptoms. I once said to him "when it rains, it pours"; he looked outside and back at me and said "it's not raining".
