I received a flyer in the mail today from a pharmacy in Canada. It has a price list and I thought some of you might want to check it. I know NOTHING about Canadian pharmacies and want you to know I am not reccomending it. If you want to check online it is www.gpchealth.com. According to the list in the flyer 10mg Aricept cost $76.00 for 100, Namenda 10mg $99.00 for 100. They say all the pills are generic and flat shipping rate is $12.00. Again, I know nothing about this or any other pharmacy but just thought you might like to check them out and maybe save some money.

Do you wonder why they would take back drugs you don't use? I might be concerned that they re-distribute them to others including me if I ordered from them. Or, do you mean unopened containers that they take back?

All my prescritions come inoriginal packaging from manufacturer.Canada drugs does not package anything that I know of,in fact most drugs are sent to me from point of manufacture. I was told the returned drugs go to third world countries or clinics in poor countries. I have never had a problem with any thing I have gotten. If you notice some of our drugs sold here are manufactured in other countries, but still cost us a lot more.I don't know if they take insurance,I get my drugs that are cheaper than my co-pay.For instance my Voltaren Jel is $ 52.(brand name) from Canada and here I have a $95. co-pay.I figure things out so I don't hit the donuthole until the end of the year.

I'm in Canada and I would like to know how come the meds are so cheap. I pay $162 for Aricept 10 mg - 30 tablets. Makes me wonder what you are getting. If it is generic it isn't the same as name brand and it comes from another country that doesn't have the same standards as the States or Canada. Quite the TV show on this up here. I'm going to ask my MLA about this. I wonder if it has to do with you not paying our taxes?

I have heard that we pay the higher prices here to cover research and development. The Canadian and Mexican government will not allow the high prices so drugs are sold at a better price. I have heard you can go to Puerto Rico and get medicines for cheaper than even Mexico - same meds as in the US, but dirt cheap. You don't even need a prescription for antibiotics.

I have purchased Aricept and Namenda from Global Pharmacy in Canada. I had to go there when we hit our coverage gap one year. All I did was remove the labels from the bottles showing refills and send them in and then use a credit card for payment. I do believe they were generic, but they got us through.
