Ok, on an earlier thread somewhere it was mentioned about how tough these special days are..we hear the ads on the tele and radio about the berries and flowers and all..

So I have my party planner hat on and we are going to have to do something about this....
I signed up to bring the cake and cupcakes..someone signed up for the Sees Candy, and another volunteer signed up for some flowers for the tables..and we agree to try go find funny Valentines...really silly ones...
But we need grub...oh and I can add some red and white M&Ms...now come on...
The weather has been pretty good to but we need location for our party, someplace indoors in case of bad weather...

    Anyone with some great ideas???????

We all have to wear something red too..

Time is still on our side to plan this...that is if we want to have a cheerful day of it.

Oh Yes, why did I not think of the bubbly! We MUST have a toast to us...and without bubbly well it would not swing..you are a wonder, Vickie!!!
  6.
NO Twinkies Please....twinkies are too twinkie for our kind of gig...

I agree, divvi and bama! I love the AL coast - beautiful country!
  12.
Oh boy..it is a good think Lent starts on the 22nd LOL..we could not feast quite so liberally otherwise...but after the feasting, lent is meant for diets a little bit anyway..but until then...chow down!
  13.
Andy has just begged me to volunteer to jump out of her cake, wearing nothing but a red thong, and then swimming in the chocolate fountain. I would never consider doing this for anyone, but I think it would be most appropriate for this group....I bought a red thong, but cannot figure out if I have it on backwards....How does one know which is the front??
The Florida Strawberry Festival is starting soon, and I will be bringing a truckload of fresh strawberries.....Party On..

    Single slide guitar.

Oh I went to a party the other night
At the ol'corral and had a fright
Cause what I saw, oh what I saw
Oh lord, help me to be allright

How it could be I can't say
It was just another valentine's day
    But what happened there
    Just shouldn't be that way

    Shouldn't be that way
    Shouldn't be that way

Well, it wasn't long, no it wasn't long
When he popped out in that red thong
And my eyes will never be the same
Because it was just so wrong, so wrong

And I will never be the same
    Never be the same

Oh lord, the things I've seen
And what they've done to me
    It would rock your soul
    And you just know

I will never be the same
    Never be the same

OMG! Wolf I was just in tears watching the video Joan posted & then I read your “poem” & I almost laughed out loud! (I would have but there is no way I could have explained why I was laughing to DH!) Thanks for the laugh that I REALLY needed! ((HUGS!))

awww... I am having such a sad week, and now, I have this party to look forward to. I have even found a sitter for him...

Phranque*, there should be a tag on the thong, put it on the back. I mean, it is going to be horrifying enough without them on backwards.

(visual...ew......lol...) WE WILL NEVER BE THE SAME!!!!

....my sick mind, is thinking of really some of the smallest whole coconuts to place beside the chocolate fountain...

On Feb 14, 1969 my future wife and I exchanged valentines in high school and so it started.

I can't do the cake thing. I'm more david than goliath (it gets bigger, honestly)

I could do the Carmen Miranda fruit salad hairpiece and a mambo? Or dress up as Tootsie and set my breasts on fire? How about a long blond wig and Marlene Dietrich in drag? I do a great sultry voice thing. Or, I know, Joan Rivers. I just need to pull my skin really tight and tie it in a knot at the back of my head. "Please, I have feelings".
  21.
Any and all 'characters' welcome, Wolf!

I have some sees. Will bring them!

I'm going to wear my poddle skirt with my saddle oxfords. With a red scarf with white hearts....
Haven't had many occasions to wear it lately and this seems like the right time and place.

Yes...of course, hahaha I meant my pink poodle skirt and I will be wearing my white bobby socks. And, I will
be wearing my long dark brown wig in a pony tail with a pink ribbon.

Divvi...poodle, poddle and piddle are all the same....just different in the eyes of the beholder.
  29.
Are those the same as puddle skirts??
  30.
