    coco a quick google found some info about native hawaiians and some resource info with regards to healthcare. if you read and at the bottom there is a contact email and phone number.it looks like this has a specific grant from the dept of aging and is specific for native hawaiians. it may be a reasonable source to start checking if they can make some referrals to help locate any of the various help for your care for DH.

    I also have a number I have been meaning to call for a few months. I will contact this one too.

    I don't know what is wrong with me,, I just don't seem to have it in me to forge on. Always expecting rejection it is really weak and wimpy.

    ha. jean believe it or not i have come to cherish my crown. we take the good with the bad- i know someday i will look back and miss even that!.

    Please please divvi keep the crown---I HATE anything to do with the BATHROOM!!!! That is the sorce of our most often problems around here. I have threatened to reap that room right off our house. But decided that might not be too smart since it is winter and cold here in WV and the outhouse is not heated!!!

    Sounds to me like you are a bit depressed. Perhaps you should talk with your doc about that. This AD world we all now have to live in takes a toll on we caregivers and we can use all the help we can get. I think you will find that many, if not most, of us on this forum have had to resort to using a bit of medication for our own survival. Know that we are all here for you.

    btw, I love the coconut treats!
